因为数据库占有资源太多，影响了整个服务器的性能，这个BlueHost用户的主机帐号被BlueHost给封了(Deactivated)，需要这个用户删除这个数据库才可以恢复主机帐号。但这个用户只是说不再使用这个数据库并没有删除数据库，就希望BlueHost恢复主机帐号。由于BlueHost坚持需要删除这个数据库，而用户说不再使用这个数据库就不会影响服务器的性能，因此就出现了僵持，这个用户就在WHT发帖说BlueHost不好。 故事大概就是些，但这个故事并不是我要描述的重点，我要描述的是如何从主机提供商(BlueHost)的角度看问题。在WHT那里的行家很多，但是大家并不认为BlueHost的做法有什么不妥，这就是虚拟主机。 一台服务器上有上百个主机帐号，主机提供商需要做到各个帐号的相对公平，也就是每个帐号不能占有太多的服务器资源，这就是虚拟主机的CPU和内存等资源限制。 与同一个服务器上其他上百个客户相比，主机商会选择放弃某个客户，也就是如果某个客户的网站引起了服务器性能问题，主机商会毫不犹豫的停掉这个帐号，并且可能让这个帐号搬走。 从经济学的角度来看，主机提供商是追求利益最大化，这一点与用户希望花最少的钱买稳定快速的主机是有某种程度的冲突的。
